Eye See '78
1978 IC Big Muff recreation. Aggressive, mid-focused fuzz from the Op-Amp era.
1978 IC/op-amp Big Muff Pi recreation in Small Foot format, designated as the V4 circuit. Uses dual op-amps instead of discrete transistors for a crunchier, more aggressive fuzz character that's woolier and more ballsy than transistor-based Muffs.
Volume, Tone, Distortion, plus a Tone Bypass switch that removes the passive tone stack for added mid-bump and volume boost—replicating a switch found on original 1978 production units. Specially selected ICs and 100% through-hole components on vintage-style circuit board.
Recreates the rare two-year production window IC Muff, with only a few thousand originals made. The op-amp Big Muff sound was made famous by Billy Corgan on Siamese Dream. Name references 'IC' (Integrated Circuit) plus the 1978 production year. True hard-wire bypass, 5mA draw, 4.8 x 2.6 x 1.6 inches, 9.5 oz.
