The Cranium Murine Distortion is Zander Circuitry's "Super-Rat"—taking the classic RAT topology and expanding it with their signature features. A full wet/dry blend control mixes between distorted signal and buffered clean for enhanced articulation.

The blend function works particularly well on bass, but also shines for lower-gain guitar sounds requiring clarity. Zander's 8-position clipping rotary adds germanium, silicon, LED, and asymmetrical options to the RAT's character.
