The Woman Tone

Aclam is a Spanish boutique founded in Barcelona in 2010. The Woman Tone recreates Eric Clapton's legendary Cream-era sound - that vocal-like warmth he achieved with his Gibson SG's volume on 10 and tone on 1.

The pedal combines a touch-sensitive Plexi-style overdrive with a humbucker pickup simulator. The Woman Tone knob gradually introduces that silky character Clapton achieved, usable with any guitar and pickup combination. A second footswitch bypasses the woman tone control for two voicings.

Artwork created by Marijke Koger, original leader of The Fool collective who decorated Clapton's famous SG. Available for $339 USD. Designed to capture that specific emotional tone rather than just another overdrive circuit.
