The Luna recreates the 4ms Tremulus Lune with modifications, a classic DIY optical tremolo circuit allowing fine-grained control over LFO shape. Unlike simple speed-and-depth tremolos, the Luna provides extensive waveform shaping through multiple front-panel controls.

The Tremulus Lune gained cult status in the DIY community for its sonic versatility - from subtle amp-style throb to choppy square-wave stutter. The optical design delivers smooth, natural amplitude modulation while the waveform controls unlock territory impossible with vintage tremolo designs. The Aion version refines the original with improved usability.
