MDI-2 Bass Distortion

The Arion MDI-2 Bass Distortion addresses a common problem with bass distortion pedals: losing low-end definition when the effect is engaged. Separate Dry Level and Dist Level controls allow for parallel blending, preserving the clean bass foundation while adding grit on top.

The tone control affects only the distorted signal, leaving the clean bass tone completely unaffected. This dual-signal architecture was ahead of its time and predates the blend knobs now standard on bass overdrive pedals.
