The Ashdown OriginAL Valve Pre-DI puts a 12AX7 tube preamp with foot-switchable overdrive into a pedalboard format. The 5-band EQ covers key bass frequencies at 100Hz, 340Hz, 680Hz, 1.6kHz, and 7kHz, with a Shape button for additional tonal sculpting.

The valve circuit delivers everything from crystal clean to fully responsive tube overdrive, controlled by dedicated Gain and Level knobs. Professional features include XLR DI output, ground lift switch, headphone output, and line input for practice.
