The Gazelle
Three-tube preamp (12AX7 x2, 12AU7) running at 270V internally—dual channels with green/yellow/red boost stages.
The Gazelle revives the legendary Seymour Duncan KTG-1 preamp used by Tame Impala's Kevin Parker, bringing 100% tube saturation to pedalboard format. Three tubes (two 12AX7s in V1 and V2, one 12AU7 in V3) run at 270 volts internally, generated from the external 12V supply with four international plug adapters included.
Two footswitchable channels offer independent volume and gain with shared three-band EQ. Clean channel provides headroom for pedalboard-driven tones, Lead channel delivers cascading tube gain. Three boost stages add flexibility: Green Boost affects both channels globally, Yellow Boost hits the Lead channel, and Red Boost provides maximum saturation. Three footswitches handle bypass, channel selection, and Yellow Boost activation.
True tube circuitry means warmth, compression, and harmonic complexity that solid-state designs approximate but never match. The Gazelle targets players seeking Tame Impala's saturated psychedelic tones or classic tube preamp response without hauling a vintage KTG-1 or tube amp to gigs.
