The Ashdown Type 23 Dynamic Filter is a triple voltage-controlled envelope filter designed for funky and speech-like bass sounds. Three filter bands (high, low, and blended) with two switchable between high and mid settings provide extensive tonal options.

The Sensitivity control sets how the envelope responds to your playing dynamics—from subtle wah-like sweeps to aggressive, talking filter effects. The bottom switch varies the filter oscillation frequency for different vowel-like sounds.
