Wildcat

The Basic Audio Wildcat is based on the Gretsch Contro Fuzz—an obscure 60s design with parallel gain stages and octave undertones. It blends from gravelly overdrive to saturated wall-of-sound fuzz.

The parallel gain structure creates complex harmonics different from typical serial fuzz designs. The Mids toggle further shapes the voicing for different guitar and amp combinations.

Handmade in Philadelphia, resurrecting this forgotten gem from fuzz history.
