Pollinator Hazee Delay
Beetronics' first digital pedal: 8 modes of filter- and tremolo-modulated delay with octave-up Queen Bee modes.
Beetronics made their name with handmade analog dirt boxes in bee-themed enclosures out of Los Angeles. The Pollinator Hazee Delay marks their first fully digital pedal and kicks off a new Pollinator Series line.
Unlike typical modulated delays that wobble the delay time, the Hazee modulates the signal first with either a filter or tremolo, then feeds that moving sound into the delay line. Each repeat is a copy of something already shifting and breathing. Eight modes combine filter or tremolo modulation with forward, reverse, and octave-up repeats. The Queen Bee modes (2 and 7) read the delay buffer at double speed for strange, musical octave-up textures.
Time, Feedback, Mix, and Modulation knobs surround a central 8-way mode selector. If you want locked-in, precise repeats, look elsewhere. This is an ambient textural tool that blooms and evolves with each repetition.
