The Behringer CS400 Compressor Sustainer is a clone of the Boss CS-3, one of the most popular compression pedals for guitarists. The CS-3 circuit is known for adding sustain and evening out dynamics while maintaining a natural sound.

Four controls—Level, Tone, Attack, and Sustain—provide comprehensive control over your compressed sound. The Tone knob is particularly useful for dialing back the high-frequency emphasis that can occur with heavy compression.

Like the Boss original, the CS400 is versatile enough for subtle, always-on compression or more aggressive squash for chicken-pickin' country licks.
