HD300 Heavy Distortion

The Behringer HD300 Heavy Distortion is a clone of the Boss MD-2 Mega Distortion, designed for modern high-gain metal and hard rock tones. The Gain Boost circuit delivers fat, aggressive distortion with endless sustain.

Five controls provide extensive tone shaping: Gain Boost, Distortion, Tone, Bottom, and Level. The dedicated Bottom knob adds substantial low-end independent of the Tone control—perfect for thick, bass-heavy rhythm tones and crushing power chords.

Note: This is the MD-2 clone, not the MT-2 Metal Zone. For the classic scooped Metal Zone sound, look to Behringer's UM300 Ultra Metal instead.
