HB01 Hellbabe

The Behringer HB01 Hellbabe uses optical control instead of a traditional potentiometer, eliminating the mechanical wear that eventually affects conventional wah pedals. This ensures smooth, noise-free operation with long-term reliability.

Extensive tone-shaping controls set it apart from basic wahs: Range adjusts the heel-down frequency (250Hz-440Hz), Fine controls the toe-down sweep (up to 2.2kHz), and Q shapes the filter peak from subtle and broad to sharp and vocal. A +15dB boost kicks in when the effect is engaged.

The spring-back mechanism automatically returns to bypass when you lift your foot—no toe-switch needed. An adjustable timer controls how long the pedal stays active in the toe-up position before bypassing.
