Octave Divider
Mu-Tron Octave Divider clone with analog sub-octave, ringer, and stabilizer.
The Behringer Octave Divider is a clone of the rare 1972 Musitronics Mu-Tron Octave Divider, a legendary analog octave effect that original units command four figures on the used market.
The pedal produces a thick analog octave-down signal plus a fuzzy ring-modulated upper harmonic tone via the Ringer circuit. Mix and Tone knobs shape the sound, while a Stabilize switch improves tracking with monophonic signals. A Bass Only switch cuts the dry signal entirely for dramatic sub-bass effects.
Amp and Aux outputs replicate the original's dual-output design. The all-metal enclosure houses this complex analog circuit at a fraction of vintage prices—essential Affordable octave effects in Behringer's budget-friendly lineup.
