Florist
Dynamic dual-delay modulator with playing-responsive chorus, flanger, vibrato, and slapback effects.
Benson Amps was founded in 2012 by Chris Benson in Portland, Oregon, after his years as a repair tech at Verellen Amps and Old Town Music. Known for handwired, roadworthy amplifiers, Benson expanded into pedals that capture the same ethos: player-friendly designs built for working musicians.
The Florist is a collaboration with Non-Human Audio that reimagines modulation as a dynamic, responsive effect. Dual delay lines react to your playing dynamics—hit harder and the modulation responds, creating an organic, amp-like interaction that static modulation pedals can't achieve.
It covers chorus, flanger, vibrato, and slapback territories, but the real magic is the Ghosts switch, which pushes the feedback to the edge of oscillation for shimmering, near-runaway textures. The modulation depth breathes with your playing rather than cycling robotically.
A genuinely different approach to modulation that rewards expressive players who use dynamics as part of their technique.
