LT Dist

Blackstar was founded in 2007 by former Marshall engineers in Northampton, England. Their LT series brings their amp expertise to affordable solid-state pedals.

The LT Dist features Blackstars patented ISF (Infinite Shape Feature) circuit alongside their patent-pending clipping technology designed to match their HT valve pedals. ISF provides infinite adjustment between American characteristics (tight bottom, aggressive mids) counterclockwise and British voicing (woody, less aggressive) clockwise.

Four controls—Gain, Level, Tone, and ISF—work together for comprehensive tone shaping. The ISF interacts with the Tone control to unlock sounds beyond typical distortion pedals. Buffered bypass and silent switching ensure clean integration.
