BLAMMO! Electronics is run by Dan Adamson, an IPC-certified builder in Portland, Oregon who previously worked in medical, aviation, and defense PCB assemblies.

The Payola uses both soft AND hard clipping diodes together (not one or the other), creating harmonically complex overdrive that s smooth at low gain but growls when cranked. A distant cousin of the Tube Screamer with Timmy-like transparency.

The Less/More toggle switches between light and heavy drive characters. The Tone control is a passive filter; the Gain knob has wide sweep (dial back Volume if Gain is cranked).
