Priority Delay
Dual PT2399 analog/digital hybrid delay with up to 1.5 seconds delay time. Chibson collab.
BLAMMO! Electronics partnered with Chibson USA on this limited edition delay pedal that was four years in the making. The Priority Delay is a fully functional analog/digital hybrid using dual PT2399 chips with a compander for long, noise-free repeat times.
Delay times range from super short slapback and fake double-tracking sounds up to 1.5 seconds (at 45 BPM). Playfully named postal-themed controls include Tracking (time), Days (feedback/repeats that self-oscillate when maxed), and Months (mix from barely audible to louder than dry signal). Twisting Tracking while Days is maxed creates those wild whooshing spaceship sounds.
The no-click footswitch works as momentary (hold) or latching (tap). Buffered bypass ensures delay repeats decay naturally rather than cutting off abruptly. The visual design parodies postal service aesthetics—the layout even mimics the legendary Klon Centaur.
Released for preorder on April Fools Day 2024—a real product from a satirical company.
