Zonch Machine
Zonk Machine fuzz with NOS germanium transistors and three-way Fat/Fatter/Modern switch.
BLAMMO! Electronics is run by Dan Adamson, an IPC-certified builder in Portland, Oregon. Before making pedals, he worked in medical, aviation, and defense PCB assemblies.
The Zonch Machine recreates the vintage Zonk Machine two-knob, three-transistor fuzz using NOS germanium transistors and tropical fish capacitors. A three-way switch adds Fat, Fatter, and Modern voicings beyond the original.
The Modern setting opens up the fuzz for less vintage-correct but more versatile tones. Built from scratch with period-correct components where possible.
The original Zonk was only produced 1965-1966 by John Hornby Skewes, making authentic units extremely rare.
