The Zap Master recreates the Dallas Rangemaster treble boost with modern updates. A 3-way input cap switch lets you choose stock 5nF value or two options that let more bass through. NPN transistor configuration allows standard center-negative power.
The standard version uses NOS Soviet MP38A germanium; the OC44 version uses NOS Mullard transistors with a voltage inverter. Robust power filtering and metal film resistors lower the noise floor.
Slightly boosted output makes pushing clean tube amps or kicking fuzz pedals easier.
