Bleak District Electric is a boutique pedal company based in Derbyshire, UK, in the Peak District. Founded by Phil, the brand creates original effects with distinctive digital artwork representing the local landscape.

The Sun? No is inspired by the legendary Sunn Model T amplifier, whose doomy tones defined Sunn O))) and countless sludge bands. Using op-amp and three cascading JFET gain stages, it captures the amp-like feel and response as close as possible to the real thing.

Toggle between Vintage (less gain, more headroom for cleaner sounds) and Reissue (all the gain for saturated distortion) modes. The tone control ranges from bass-forward to treble-forward, with a slight low-mid notch when centered.

Works great with bass - the original Model T was designed as a bass amp. Hand-built in the UK.
