Unlike conventional clipping, the wavefolder creates distortion by folding the sound waveform, producing distinctive harmonics. Multiple color-shaping controls and a wide dirt range enable tones from classic ambient to noise and shoegaze. A momentary Crash footswitch triggers self-oscillation.

Controls include gain, reverb level, wavefolding intensity, and tone shaping. The reverb follows and extends spring reverberation timbre for immersive soundscapes.
