The AW-3 Dynamic Wah provides envelope-following auto-wah with multiple modes, responding to your picking dynamics to create wah-like sweeps without a rocker pedal. Released in 2005 with humanizer and sound-hold features.
Multiple modes: Auto Wah (envelope follower), Humanizer (vowel sounds), Sound Hold (freeze effect), and more. The Auto Wah mode sweeps the filter based on pick attack intensity. The Humanizer mode shapes the filter to produce vowel-like sounds (ah, oh, ee), creating talking-guitar effects.
Sens (sensitivity), Manual, Decay, and Mode controls. At 45mA it draws more than analog wahs due to the digital processing for the Humanizer and Sound Hold modes. Expression pedal input enables traditional wah-pedal control.
