BD-2w Blues Driver (Waza Craft)

The BD-2W takes the Blues Driver circuit and rebuilds it with premium components under Boss's Waza Craft line, handmade in Japan. Standard mode faithfully recreates the original BD-2's discrete FET overdrive. Custom mode opens up the headroom and smooths the clipping for a more amp-like response.

Custom mode is where the BD-2W separates itself. The gain structure breathes more naturally, cleaning up with volume roll-offs like a responsive tube amp. The low end tightens up and the top end loses the slight fizz some players noticed in the original. It's subtle, but players who know the BD-2 feel the difference immediately.

Same three controls as the original: Level, Tone, Gain. A toggle switch selects Standard or Custom mode. At 18mA it's still easy on power, and the compact enclosure fits the same pedalboard footprint as every other Boss pedal.
