The BP-1W is an unusual Waza Craft entry: a buffer and booster designed specifically for bass guitar. The buffer section runs independently as an always-on signal conditioner, while a footswitchable boost provides up to 12dB of clean level increase.
The Waza Craft buffer maintains low-frequency integrity through long cable runs and complex signal chains, where bass frequencies are the first to suffer from capacitance loss. A Lo and Hi control fine-tunes the frequency balance of the buffered signal, functioning as a subtle always-on EQ.
The boost section is independent: engage it for solos, transitions, or any moment where the bass needs to cut through. Clean boost with no coloring keeps the natural bass tone intact while raising the volume. At 60mA total draw, it's modest for what amounts to two circuits in one enclosure.
An unusual product that solves a real problem. Bass players with large pedalboards and long cable runs lose low-end definition. The BP-1W addresses this permanently while adding a practical clean boost.
