CE-20 Chorus Ensemble

The CE-20 packs multiple chorus algorithms into Boss's twin-pedal format, modeling chorus effects from across Boss and Roland's history. Released in 2003, it offers CE-1, CE-2, Dimension D, Vibrato, and other chorus types in a single unit.

Multiple algorithms recreate the voicing of specific vintage chorus circuits. The CE-1 and CE-2 models aim to capture those pedals' analog BBD character. The Dimension D model emulates the Roland SDD-320 rack unit's spatial enhancement. Additional modes cover standard chorus, flanger-like modulation, and vibrato.

Two footswitches handle bypass and mode/preset selection. Dedicated knobs for rate, depth, and other parameters. At 165mA in the twin-pedal format, it needs a proper power supply. Stereo outputs for spatial chorus applications.

The CE-20 was the comprehensive chorus solution before the 200/500-series format took over. For players who want access to multiple vintage Boss chorus sounds without collecting the individual pedals.
