GE-7 Graphic Equalizer
The pedalboard EQ standard - 7 bands of surgical tone shaping or mid-boost magic.
The GE-7 Graphic Equalizer has been in production since 1981, making it one of Boss's longest-running pedals. Seven bands from 100Hz to 6.4kHz with plus/minus 15dB of boost/cut per band provide comprehensive tone shaping in the compact format.
Seven slider-controlled bands cover the full guitar frequency range. Common uses: scooping mids for metal, boosting mids for blues, cutting feedback frequencies in a live setting, or compensating for an amp's tonal deficiencies. The sliders give instant visual feedback of the EQ curve.
Seven frequency sliders plus Level. At 8mA it barely draws power. The GE-7 is often the unsung hero of a pedalboard: not glamorous, but it fixes problems that no other pedal type can.
Over 40 years of continuous production reflects the GE-7's fundamental usefulness. It's the toolbox pedal: not exciting, but you're glad you have it when you need to surgically adjust your tone. Works before or after drive pedals for different shaping applications.
