ML-2 Metal Core

The ML-2 Metal Core delivers extreme gain with an emphasis on tight, defined low end for drop-tuned and seven-string guitars. Released in 2006, it targets the metalcore and modern metal tones that were dominating heavy music at the time.

The circuit provides massive distortion with a low-frequency response extended well below standard guitar range. A two-band EQ (Low and High) shapes the tone, with the Low control specifically tuned for the sub-bass frequencies that drop-tuned guitars produce.
