The RC-2 Loop Station expanded the RC-1 concept with 11 onboard rhythm patterns, phrase storage, and up to 16 minutes of recording time. Released as the step up from the RC-1 for players who wanted more features in a compact format.
Eleven rhythm patterns provide a built-in metronome and drum backing for practice and performance. Multiple phrase memories store loops for recall. The single footswitch handles record, overdub, play, and stop with sequential presses and holds.
Level, a Rhythm selector, and Tempo controls. The rhythm patterns range from basic click tracks to full drum patterns in various genres. USB connectivity enables loop import/export via computer.
The RC-2 bridges the gap between the dead-simple RC-1 and the more complex RC-3 and RC-5. For players who want rhythm accompaniment with their loops without stepping up to a multi-footswitch format.
