SDE-3000D Dual Digital Delay
The rack delay that defined 80s rock - dual engines recreating studio legend SDE-3000.
The SDE-3000D recreates the Roland SDE-3000, the rack delay that defined 80s rock production. The original was a studio staple, used by guitarists and producers for its pristine digital repeats and flexible routing. The pedal version puts dual SDE-3000 engines in Boss's twin-pedal format.
Two independent delay engines with up to 3000ms each. The modeled SDE-3000 algorithm captures the original's 12-bit converter warmth and its distinctive modulation character. Additional modes go beyond the original: Tape, Analog, and more modern algorithms. 127 user presets store complete dual-delay configurations.
Extensive controls for each engine plus global routing options. Stereo I/O, MIDI in/out, expression pedal input. Two footswitches handle bypass and tap tempo (or preset switching). At 450mA it needs serious power.
The original SDE-3000 rack was used by Eddie Van Halen, The Edge, Steve Lukather, and countless session guitarists. The SDE-3000D makes that sound pedalboard-accessible for the first time.
