SDE-3 Dual Digital Delay
Dual digital delay with two independent delay engines running simultaneously or in series.
The SDE-3 packs dual independent delay engines into Boss's compact pedal format, giving players two separate delay lines that can run independently, in series, or in parallel. Released as part of the newer generation of Boss delays.
Two delay engines with independent time, feedback, and level controls. Modes include Standard, Analog, Tape, and more. The dual architecture allows complex delay textures: short slapback on one engine, long ambient trails on the other; or two rhythmically offset delays creating polyrhythmic patterns.
Dedicated controls for each delay engine plus global parameters. Tap tempo via footswitch. Expression pedal input for real-time tweaking. The compact enclosure keeps the pedalboard footprint manageable despite the dual architecture.
For players who want dual-delay functionality without stepping up to the twin-pedal SDE-3000D format. Two delays in one compact pedal is a tight squeeze on controls, but the sound options more than compensate.
