The TU-3W adds Waza Craft's premium buffer circuit to the industry-standard TU-3 tuner. The tuning engine is identical: chromatic tuning from C0 to C8, plus/minus 1 cent accuracy, 21-segment high-brightness LED display. What changes is everything around it.
The Waza Craft buffer is the real upgrade. A true bypass/buffer bypass switch lets you choose between pure signal pass-through or the premium buffer that maintains high-frequency clarity through long cable runs and pedal chains. The buffer is always active regardless of tuning state, so it works as an always-on signal conditioner.
At 110mA, the TU-3W draws more than the standard TU-3 (52mA) because of the active buffer circuit. It still powers other pedals via daisy chain output, though the total available current is reduced. Same compact enclosure, same bright display, same reliability.
For players who run long cable runs or large pedalboards, the TU-3W's buffer can be the difference between a bright, present tone and a dull, lifeless signal. It turns the tuner slot into a dual-purpose tone tool.
