Broughton Audio, Toronto-based and run by bassist Josh Broughton, produces high-quality effects designed specifically for bass players. The Omnicomp is a fully-featured optical compressor suitable for pedalboard and studio.

Internal 30V regulated supply handles line-level signals cleanly. Burr Brown OpAmp audio path provides superior performance and extremely low noise. The vactrol optical element delivers musical compression easy to dial in.

The side chain contains a gentle high-pass filter tuned so bass-heavy instruments dont over-trigger compression. LED indicator shows exact vactrol illumination for precise threshold setting. Accepts 9-18V at 150mA.

Versatile enough for bass, guitar, drums, and vocals with even compression across the bandwidth.
