Ampster

The Carl Martin Ampster is a single-tube preamp and speaker simulator that can supplement or entirely replace a traditional amplifier. Built around a 12AX7 tube, it delivers authentic tube amp feel with zero latency.

The Ampster features familiar amp controls including Bass, Middle, Treble, Master, Gain, and Presence. A Cabinet switch selects between 2x12 open-back and 4x12 closed-back speaker simulations. The balanced XLR DI output goes directly to mixing consoles or recording interfaces.

Additional features include an effects loop, Link output to feed a traditional amp, mute switch, and ground lift. The Ampster works equally well for fly-rig setups, backup amp duties, or silent recording, delivering tube tone with professional-grade DI capability.
