ReVolt
3-channel analog amp sim with 12AX7 tube (200V), OD-Boost, Marshall cab sim, MIDI, 4-cable mode, 10 DynIRs.
The ReVolt Guitar delivers all-analog amplifier simulation with genuine 12AX7/ECC83 preamp tube running at 200 volts in triode mode as output-stage cathode follower, maintaining authentic tube interaction and dynamic response impossible with solid-state simulation or low-voltage tube circuits. Three channels provide comprehensive tonal coverage: American Clean inspired by Fender Bassman 100 (high-headroom cleans with Bass/Treble controls), British Crunch based on Marshall JMP Super Lead (classic rock crunch), and Modern Lead modeled after Soldano SLO 100 (searing high-gain leads). Crunch and Lead channels share 3-band EQ (Bass/Mid/Treble) for precise frequency sculpting.
Integrated OD-Boost circuit activated by pressing active channel's footswitch again delivers up to +20dB boost per channel, pushing leads into spotlight-stealing saturation or increasing crunch intensity without requiring separate boost pedal. Analog cabinet simulation inspired by Marshall Slash Signature 4x12 affects XLR balanced line output and headphone output. FX loop enables inserting time-based effects after preamp distortion, 4-cable mode allows integration with amplifier preamp and power amp sections, MIDI I/O provides preset recall via external controllers. Includes collection of ten DynIRs for situations requiring more DI flexibility beyond analog cabinet emulation. Dimensions 7x4.5x3 inches.
The ReVolt Guitar targets players seeking authentic tube preamp character in all-analog signal path with modern routing flexibility, suitable for classic rock, hard rock, and blues where tube warmth and touch sensitivity define the musical voice but compact format and comprehensive connectivity enhance practical workflow—addressing scenarios where hauling tube amplifiers proves impractical yet digital modeling compromises tonal authenticity or dynamic response.
