The Carl Martin Panama delivers vintage 80s overdrive tones inspired by Eddie Van Halen's tuned Plexi Marshall sound. It's an all-analog overdrive with a unique Damping control for low-end management.

Four knobs provide Gain, Tone, Level, and Damping. The Damping control addresses bass frequency response, tightening the low end for crunchy rhythm parts or loosening it for fuller lead tones. This solves the common problem of bass getting flabby at higher gain settings.

With an internal charge pump boosting 9V to 12V, the Panama delivers extended headroom in Carl Martin's compact enclosure. The Plexi-like voicing makes it equally effective driving clean amps or stacking with dirty amp tones.
