Arigato
OTA analog phaser with vibe mode that rumbles and roars beyond psychedelic swirl.
Caroline Guitar Company builds bold, characterful effects from Columbia, South Carolina. The Arigato represents founder Philippe Herndon's return to his roots—the first pedal he ever owned was a phaser, making this feel like a homecoming.
The Arigato uses an OTA (Operational Transconductance Amplifier) analog circuit with a Vibe mode toggle that shifts capacitors and filter notches to create an off-balance feel reminiscent of vintage vibe units. While capable of airy psychedelia, it's designed to rumble, wobble, shake, rattle, and roar. The pedal can run fully wet for pure vibrato tones, max out feedback for auto-wah sweeps, and deliver a wide range of responsive modulation textures.
Controls include Mix, Aim (intensity), Feedback, and Speed, plus toggles for Vibe mode and wave shape (triangle/square). The bypass footswitch also functions as momentary for instant phasing 'hits.' Caroline's signature Havoc switch maxes out parameters for chaos on demand.
