Haymaker

The Caroline Guitar Company Haymaker is essentially three overdrives in one, featuring a three-way switch for soft-clipped, hard-clipped, and uncompressed overdrive modes. It's their ultimate overdrive engine.

Mode A provides classic soft-clipped overdrive with extended bass and gain. Mode B offers less compression with more volume for slamming amps. Mode C delivers hard-clipped drive capable of fuzzy textures at higher settings.

Punch (gain), Shape (frequency/grit), Stacks (treble filter), and Speaker (volume) controls shape each mode. The Shape control, based on a Philip Ruetz circuit tweak, adjusts how much 'hair' is in the drive. Wide gain range covers transparent boost to fuzzy distortion.
