Elements Distortion

The Catalinbread Elements Distortion strips distortion down to a single Master Volume knob. The silicon transistor circuit provides the gain structure internally—you control only the output level. The key feature is how dynamically it responds to your guitar's volume knob: roll back and it cleans up naturally, like a tube amp at the edge of breakup.

The voicing references MXR Distortion+, DOD 250, and Marshall Plexi territory—tight, focused distortion with enough midrange presence to cut through. The silicon transistors provide consistent performance regardless of temperature, unlike germanium alternatives.
