Elements Fuzz
One-knob silicon fuzz—extremely loud output with raw, uncompromising square-wave character.
The Catalinbread Elements Fuzz uses silicon transistors in a single-knob design that outputs an enormous amount of level. The Master Volume control is necessary because the circuit produces significantly more output than most fuzzes—it's designed to push whatever comes after it hard.
Unlike the Elements Distortion which cleans up dynamically with guitar volume, the Fuzz version is less sensitive to playing dynamics. Silicon transistors produce a harder, more squared-off clipping characteristic than germanium, resulting in a raw, aggressive fuzz tone that doesn't smooth out when you roll back your volume.
Part of the Elements series proving that one knob can be enough. The deliberately limited interaction with picking dynamics makes it a "set and destroy" fuzz—dial in your level and play. Best suited for players who want consistent wall-of-fuzz saturation rather than nuanced cleanup.
