Tonal Recall
All-analog BBD delay with digital recall. Two MN3005 chips, 550ms max, and full MIDI control.
One of the most heralded pedals of 2016, the Tonal Recall proved that analog delay and digital control could coexist beautifully. Two Xvive MN3005 bucket-brigade chips deliver up to 550ms of warm, organic repeats while digital brains handle preset recall and MIDI.
Three delay modes (short, long, both chips) cover everything from slapback to longer ambient trails. Sine, triangle, and square wave modulation with independent rate and depth add movement. The tone knob sweeps from crystalline to dark, murky repeats.
Two onboard presets expand to 122 via MIDI. Expression/CV control over any parameter. True bypass or buffered with trails. Self-oscillation on tap. 150mA at 9V DC center-negative.
