Collision Devices is a French pedal builder creating ambient and experimental effects, with all products designed, assembled, and tested by hand in their workshop. TARS stands for 'This Audio Reached Singularity.'
The TARS DLX expands on the standard TARS with additional features for comprehensive fuzz and filter sculpting. Like the original, it combines the Singularity fuzz circuit with an MS-20-inspired low-pass filter based on the LM13700.
The larger enclosure accommodates expanded control options while maintaining the core fuzz and filter architecture. The JFET input and silicon gain/clipping stages feed into the variable low-pass filter with adjustable resonance and multiple routing options.
Expression/CV control enables real-time filter sweeps for wah-like effects and dynamic textures. Completely built in France from enclosure to circuit. Lifetime warranty. Isolated power supply recommended for all Collision Devices pedals.
