The Outward is a multi-mode granular digital sampling device with eight distinct modes: smooth envelope, smooth LFO, freeze, choppy envelope, choppy LFO, stutter, and two time-stretch algorithms. It records audio and processes it through various granular and buffer-based effects.

With controls for speed/sensitivity, grain size, pitch/direction, clock rate, tone, mix, and volume, plus expression input and tap tempo, the Outward offers deep control over granular textures. True bypass, preset storage, and freeze functionality make it versatile for ambient soundscapes and experimental textures.
