Zefiro

Cornerstone Music Gear designed the Zefiro optical compressor specifically for guitarists who typically hate compressors. Named after the gentle west wind (Zephyr in Italian), it delivers smooth, studio-style compression without the squashed, artificial feel.

The optical circuit provides smooth, soft action similar to high-end studio compressors. Four controls make it easy to dial in: Comp ranges from very subtle to substantial squash, with additional knobs for level and tone shaping. The pedal can run at 9V, 12V, 15V, or 18V—at higher voltages it handles hot signals effortlessly.

Comparable to the Diamond compressor in character but with more control, the Zefiro adds warmth and balance to electric, acoustic, and bass guitars. It's not transparent—it has 'tone magic' that makes everything sound better. Very quiet operation. True bypass, handmade in Italy.
