Crossfire

The Crossfire pairs two iconic sounds in one enclosure. The left channel is a full analog emulation of a blackface amp with a 3-knob EQ, gain, and volume controls. A headroom toggle selects between solid-state rectified (4x 6L6GC) and tube-rectified (2x 6L6GC) voicings, while a bright switch adds sparkle.

The right channel recreates a classic late-1970s green mid-hump overdrive with modern mods. A clipping toggle selects symmetrical or asymmetrical clipping for touch-sensitive response, and a gain toggle adds extra gain while altering the low-frequency character. An internal switch provides 18V DC to the overdrive circuit for additional headroom.

A passive effects loop lets you insert pedals between the two sides or run them independently. Both channels have independent footswitches. True bypass when both sides are off. Guitar Player Magazine Editor's Pick, May 2022.
