Hi Power

The Hi Power is a dual analog overdrive inspired by the sonic combination that helped shape Pink Floyd's Wish You Were Here. The right side faithfully recreates the Colorsound Power Boost with true-to-spec BC184 silicon transistors running at 18V via an internal voltage booster and a 2-band Baxandall EQ. The PWR-ODR toggle switches between the higher-headroom 18V Power Boost and the grittier 9V Overdriver mode.

The left side emulates a Hiwatt amplifier with full EQ plus Presence control at the negative feedback loop of the power amp simulation. A headroom toggle selects between the 100W quad-EL34 power section and the more compressed 50W dual-EL34 voicing. The channel switch selects Normal, Bright, or linked inputs for added gain and frequency shaping.

Features click-less true bypass via relays, a passive series effects loop between sections, and power-up bypass/engage preset for the footswitches. 9V DC only.
