Motherload

The Motherload packs two classic gain circuits into one enclosure: an R circuit inspired by the ProCo RAT delivering overdrive to distortion, and an M circuit inspired by the Big Muff delivering thick fuzz with great string separation and rich harmonics. A toggle switch selects between the two circuits, giving players instant access to both voices.

The R circuit uses a Filter knob to control brightness and harshness, getting darker as you turn clockwise. The M circuit features a Tone knob for bass/treble balance and a Voice knob that sweeps through voicings of different Muff variations throughout the decades. A Link EQ push button activates all three EQ controls simultaneously across both circuits. Gain and Volume knobs are shared across both sides.

All analog construction running on 9V DC at just 35mA. Soft-click true bypass via high-quality relay keeps the signal chain clean when the pedal is off.
