Dual overdrive pairing a K-style germanium drive with two D-style amp voicings and FX loop.

The Unobtainium combines two legendary circuits in a single enclosure. The right side houses a K-style overdrive with germanium diode clipping, delivering the fabled transparent drive with natural compression and harmonic richness. The left side is a D-style amp-in-a-box with two voicings selectable via toggle: SSS (clean, transparent overdrive) and ODS (higher gain with enhanced midrange and harmonic overtones).

The drive section offers Gain, Treble (active boost/cut), and Volume, with toggles for buffer/true bypass and stock/mod clipping modes. The amp section provides Gain, Emphasis (pre-drive EQ), Tone, and Volume, with internal trimmers for fine-tuning EQ and volume. An external footswitch jack allows remote amp voicing selection.

A passive series effects loop connects pedals between the two sections. Internal 18V charge pump provides tube-like headroom from a standard 9V supply. Relay-based true bypass.
