Double Hotcake

Crowther Audio, founded by drummer-turned-engineer Paul Crowther in New Zealand, has handmade the Hotcake since 1977. The Double Hotcake doubles down on their legendary circuit.

The Double Hotcake features two independent Hotcake circuits in one enclosure. Each side delivers the natural, uncompressed distortion the Hotcake is known for, with the ability to run them separately or stacked.

With the unique op-amp clipping that leaves bass frequencies undistorted, both channels provide that legendary Hotcake character. Used for decades by players like Mark Knopfler, the dual format offers even more versatility.
