Ziggy V2
British-voiced dual MOSFET overdrive with low and high gain channels and 18V internal headroom.
The Ziggy V2 runs discrete MOSFET gain stages through an internal 18V charge pump to deliver tube-like headroom and touch sensitivity from a standard 9V supply. Two independent channels cover a wide gain range: the low-gain side is voiced after a late-1960s Super Bass amplifier, while the high-gain channel draws from late-1970s Master Volume British amp tones.
Each channel has its own Gain and Tone controls. The Gain knob doubles as a voicing control, adding bass as it turns clockwise, while the Tone control functions as a presence dial, adding bite. The tonal range spans jangly, sparkling cleans to thick crunch.
A silent relay true-bypass switching circuit selects between the two channels. Everything from your guitar volume to pick attack translates faithfully, making this a versatile drive for players who steer their sound from the instrument itself.
